Why a separate hybrid & EV department
High-voltage work needs its own training, safety procedures and equipment: insulated tools and gloves, insulation testers, dedicated A/C equipment for electric compressors, and scan tools that can read battery and charging data. Giving it its own department means those cars are handled by the technicians and tools set up for them.

Safety
Every job that touches the high-voltage system starts with lockout: the system is de-energized and verified dead before anyone works on it, using insulated tools and rated gloves.
